Volleyball Recap: Pine View Takes a Loss

Pine View lost against Crimson Cliffs back in August, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Panthers fell just short of the Mustangs by a score of 3-2. The Panthers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Pine View took a 2-1 lead headed into the fourth set, but sadly they lost the next two. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 21-25, 25-16, 23-25, 25-20, 15-11.

Lily Jones went supernova For Crimson Cliffs., getting 21 digs and five aces. That's the most aces Jones has posted since back in August.

Pine View's defeat dropped their record down to 5-10. As for Crimson Cliffs, their victory was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 17-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pine View will head out to challenge Panguitch at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Crimson Cliffs, they will venture away from home to face off against Payson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday.
