Baseball Recap: North Adams-Jerome's Victory on Monday Extends Winning Streak to Three

North Adams-Jerome hadn't done well against Camden-Frontier recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. The Rams were the clear victors by an 8-0 margin over the Redskins. The Rams might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine matchups by six runs or more this season.

The result came thanks to Desman Lawless's shutout, as he gave up just four hits and racked up 15 Ks. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, Kaleb Hale was incredible, going 3-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of Conner Arsenault, who went 2-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

The win (which was North Adams-Jerome's third in a row) raised their record to 11-3. The victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.3 runs on average over those games. As for Camden-Frontier, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-11 record this season.

North Adams-Jerome will head out on the road to square off against Burr Oak at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Rams are facing the Bobcats at the right time seeing as the Bobcats are stuck on a three-game losing streak. Camden-Frontier has already played their next contest (against Morenci), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
