Softball Recap: Erath Wins Going Away Against Centerville

Erath won the last time they faced Centerville and things went their way on Tuesday too. Erath was the clear victor by a 16-1 margin over Centerville. The result was nothing new for the Bobcats, who have now won eight games by eight runs or more so far this season.

Erath is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-12 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. Centerville's loss dropped their record down to 3-8.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Erath Bobcats face off against Breaux Bridge Tigers at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. Erath will need to watch out since Breaux Bridge has now posted at least ten runs in their last three contests. As for Centerville, they are taking a road trip to take on Patterson at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
