Basketball Game Preview: Comprehensive Model N/A vs. Explorations Academy

After both having extra time off, the Comprehensive Model N/A and Explorations Academy will shake off the cobwebs and square off against one another at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Comprehensive Model is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 74-37, which was the final score in Comprehensive Model's tilt against Bronx Leadership Academy last Thursday. While losing is never fun, the N/A can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 598th, while the Wolfpack are ranked 183rd).

Meanwhile, Explorations Academy scored the most points they've had this season last Thursday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of IN-Tech Academy by a score of 61-58. Explorations Academy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Comprehensive Model's defeat dropped their record down to 3-5. As for Explorations Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-6.

Comprehensive Model was able to grind out a solid win over Explorations Academy in their previous matchup back in December of 2024, winning 50-41. The rematch might be a little tougher for Comprehensive Model since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
