It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Liberty-Eylau had no problem doing just that on Friday. They blew past the Whitesboro Bearcats 11-1. The result was nothing new for the Leopards, who have now won 11 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

The victory (which was Liberty-Eylau's sixth in a row) raised their record to 31-4. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Whitesboro, they moved to 15-13 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.

Liberty-Eylau will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Bearcats: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
