Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a  season-high score is even better (just ask Legacy Charter). They put the hurt on Edgewater with a sharp  23-10 victory on Tuesday. Legacy Charter might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five matches by 13  runs or more this season.
 Stefanie Donahey made a big impact no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out six batters over  four innings while giving up just two earned  (and one unearned) runs off   two  hits (and only one walk). She has been consistent  recently: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box,  scoring two  runs while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  Chasity Sepulveda and  Brooklynn Kowal did most of the damage at the plate:  Sepulveda  scored two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances, while  Kowal  scored four  runs while  getting on base  in four of her five plate appearances. Those  two  runs gave  Sepulveda a new career-high.  Lillian Mimler was another key player,  scoring two  runs while  getting on base  in three of her five plate appearances.
 Legacy Charter  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .609. They are  a perfect 5-0 when  they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Legacy Charter now  has a winning record of 7-6. As for Edgewater,  they are  on  a  29-game losing streak  (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-14.
 Looking ahead, Legacy Charter will face off against Real Life Christian Academy at 5:30  p.m.  on Thursday. The Eagles' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Raptors have averaged an impressive 15.8  runs per game this season. As for Edgewater, they will welcome East River  at 4:30  p.m.  on Wednesday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their  seventh straight  win, something the Eagles surely won't give up without a fight.
