Basketball Recap: Camryn Smith and Ashley Lamers Secure Win for Union Grove

Union Grove won the last time they faced Westosha Central and things went their way on Friday too. The Union Grove Broncos walked away with a 56-48 win over the Westosha Central Falcons. That's two games straight that the Broncos have won by exactly eight points.

Leading Union Grove to victory were Ashley Lamers and Camryn Smith. Lamers almost dropped a double-double on 17 points and nine boards, while Smith almost dropped a double-double on 15 points and nine rebounds. Marley Busey was another key player, putting up eight points and three steals.

The victory made it two in a row for Union Grove and bumps their season record up to 16-2. As for Westosha Central, they moved to 10-4 with that loss, which also ended their nine-game winning streak.
