After a string of three wins, Toledo Christian's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They came up short against the Genoa Area Comets, falling 68-42. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 470th, while the Comets are ranked 184th).

Toledo Christian now has a losing record at 4-5. As for Genoa Area, their win bumped their record up to 7-2.

Toledo Christian will head out to square off against Cardinal Stritch at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Genoa Area, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 61-22 victory against Clay on the 30th.
