Soccer Recap: Green Canyon Takes a Loss

Green Canyon was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 2-0 to the Stansbury Stallions. Green Canyon were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Stansbury apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in May of 2025.

Green Canyon's defeat dropped their record down to 5-5. As for Stansbury, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-2 record this season.

Green Canyon wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 2-1 victory against Tooele on the 9th. As for Stansbury, they have also already played their next match, a 1-0 win against Mountain Crest on the 8th.
