Volleyball Recap: Tri-City Christian Extends Winning Streak to Three

Tri-City Christian had already won two in a row and they went ahead and made it three on Wednesday. They came within a single set of losing the streak, but they secured a 3-2 W against the East Forsyth Eagles. This was a revenge game for Tri-City Christian: when they faced off against East Forsyth on April 9th, they had to take a 3-1 defeat.

If you add up the scores from across all five sets (106-104) Tri-City Christian actually scored fewer points, but in the end it didn't matter. The final score came out to 21-25, 25-23, 25-21, 18-25, 15-12.

Tri-City Christian's win bumped their record up to 6-2. As for East Forsyth, they now have a losing record of 7-8.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Tri-City Christian will square off against rival R.J. Reynolds at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, East Forsyth is set to challenge their familiar foe West Forsyth at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
