Nimitz won the last time they faced White and things went their way on Friday too. The Nimitz Vikings won by a run and slipped past the White Longhorns 6-5. That's two games straight that the Vikings have won by just one run.

Nimitz has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-2 record this season. They've had to fight for that success though, as they only beat their opponents by an average of one runs across that stretch. White's defeat dropped their record down to 4-2-1.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Nimitz will challenge Grand Prairie at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday. The last four games Nimitz has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for White, they will head out on the road to challenge Irving at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday. White's pitching crew has only allowed three runs per game this season, so Irving's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
