Basketball Recap: New Ulm Victorious

New Ulm posted their closest victory since December 10, 2024 on Monday. They had just enough and edged the Willmar Cardinals out 66-63. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Eagles.

New Ulm's win bumped their record up to 7-15. As for Willmar, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 7-13 record this season.

Looking ahead, New Ulm will be playing in front of their home fans against St. James at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Willmar, a feisty cat fight will be fought when the Cardinals duke it out with the Tigers at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
