Volleyball Recap: Johansen Takes a Loss

Johansen had lost 14 straight at home dating back to last season, but on Wednesday they dropped their record down to 1-11 to make it 15. They lost 3-0 to the Lathrop Spartans. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Spartans this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 back in March.

As for Lathrop, they have been performing well recently as they've won 16 of their last 19 games. That's provided a nice bump to their 24-8 record this season. The win made it back-to-back victories for they.

Jorge Reyes went supernova, getting 32 assists and three aces. He is on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 19 or more in each of the last three games he's played.

As of now, neither Johansen nor Lathrop have any future games scheduled.
