Football Recap: Montclair Takes a Loss

It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 48-18, which was the final score in the Montclair Cavaliers's tilt against the Sierra Vista Dons on Wednesday. While losing is never fun, the Cavaliers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California football rankings (they are ranked 236th, while the Dons are ranked 111th).

Montclair dropped their record down to 1-2 with the loss, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Sierra Vista, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 5-2.

Looking ahead, Montclair will host Duarte at 3:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Sierra Vista, they will head out on the road to square off against Valencia at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
