Caden Crain posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out 11 batters over five innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and only one walk), good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in three consecutive appearances.
