Basketball Recap: Martinsville Takes a Loss

If Martinsville was feeling good fresh off their 76-10 takedown of Kennard last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Martinsville Pirates were dealt a 73-19 defeat at the hands of the Broaddus Bulldogs on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Pirates can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 848th, while the Bulldogs are ranked 188th).
