Football Game Preview: Kingman Bulldogs vs. Dysart Demons + How To Watch

After each having a week off, the Kingman Bulldogs and the Dysart Demons will shake off the rust and duke it out at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both come into the matchup bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Kingman played in-conference for the first time last Friday and got just the result they were looking for. They walked away with a 21-13 win over Odyssey Institute.

Among those leading the charge was D'ANTHONY BUSH, who rushed for 110 yards and one TD, and also threw for 77 yards and one touchdown. He is becoming a predictor of Kingman's success: when he posts at least 80 rushing yards the team is 2-1 (and 1-3 when he doesn't).

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Dysart, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in September. They put the hurt on Shadow Mountain with a sharp 40-14 victory last Friday. Considering the Demons have won three games by more than 25 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Dysart's win came from a few key players Kingman will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Jevon Christmas, who picked up 54 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 102 yards on only ten carries. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 56 yards. Another signal caller making a difference was Josiah Laborin, who threw for 190 yards and three TDs.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Dysart was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 289 rushing yards. They are 3-1 when they've run for more than 200 yards.

Dysart didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Connor Stogner led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. He got in on the action too, converting a pick into a touchdown.

Kingman's win ended a five-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 3-4. As for Dysart, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 3-4.

Kingman suffered a grim 58-38 defeat to Dysart in their previous matchup back in October of 2020. Thankfully for the Bulldogs, Gabriel Silvas (who rushed for 110 yards and three touchdowns on only 12 carries) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result?
