It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Perry can now relate to. They came up short against the Red Mountain Mountain Lions on Wednesday, falling 14-1. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last four times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Perry saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Tyler Miller, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with one run.

Perry has also been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-20-1 record this season. As for Red Mountain, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 20-7.

Perry does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Red Mountain, they have already played their next contest, a 7-5 victory against Desert Vista on the 2nd.
