Softball Game Preview: Bethel Bruins vs. Phoebus Phantoms

For the second straight game, Bethel will face off against Phoebus. The Bruins will be playing at home against the Phantoms at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Bethel's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three matchups.

Last Tuesday, Bethel made easy work of Phoebus and carried off a 19-8 win. The Bruins might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won five games by 11 runs or more this season.

For Phoebus' part, Kadence Bone made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-2. Bone has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last five times she's played. Another player making a difference was Ariana Robinson, who scored two runs while going 2-for-3.

This is the second loss in a row for Phoebus and nudges their season record down to 3-6. As for Bethel, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
