Volleyball Game Preview: Vincent Memorial Scots vs. Calexico Bulldogs

Vincent Memorial is 0-7 against Calexico since September of 2018 but things could change on Tuesday. The Scots will host the Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m. After the two teams made easy work of their previous opponents, one won't be so lucky on Tuesday.

Having struggled with four losses in a row, Vincent Memorial turned things around against Palo Verde Valley on Thursday. They put the hurt on the Yellow Jackets with a sharp 3-0 victory. The contest marked the Scots' most dominant win of the season.

The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-19, 25-20.

Meanwhile, Calexico got the win against Calipatria on Wednesday by a conclusive 3-0.

The final score came out to 25-12, 25-18, 25-15.

Vincent Memorial's victory was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-4 and their overall record up to 4-8. As for Calexico, their win bumped their record up to 8-18.

Vincent Memorial might still be hurting after the 3-0 defeat they got from Calexico in their previous meeting last Thursday. Can the Scots avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
