Soccer Game Preview: Archbishop Riordan vs. Menlo School

The Archbishop Riordan Crusaders will take on the Menlo School Knights in a holiday battle at at 1:45 p.m. on Saturday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Archbishop Riordan fell victim to Fremont and their airtight defense on Thursday. They fell just short of the Firebirds by a score of 1-0. The Crusaders have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Meanwhile, neither Menlo School nor Wilcox could gain the upper hand on Monday so the two teams had to settle for a 1-1 draw.

Menlo School's goal came courtesy of Declan Sitter, who's now up to two this season.

Menlo School's draw gives them a new season record of 1-1-2. As for Archbishop Riordan, they now have a losing record at 1-2.
