Baseball Recap: Hartville Comes Up Short

Hartville lost against Miller on Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Eagles might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 5-1 to the Cardinals, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Hartville's loss dropped their record down to 16-11. As for Miller, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 17 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 27-4 record this season.

Hartville does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Miller, they will challenge Chaffee at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Red Devils will roll in looking for their tenth straight victory, something the Cardinals surely won't give up without a fight.
