Danbury's Losing Streak Is No More Thanks to Jake Okeefe

Danbury's eight-game losing streak dating back to last season is now nothing but a memory thanks in part to Jake OKeefe. OKeefe turned in nothing short of a gem on Friday, rushing for 67 yards and two touchdowns, while also throwing for 108 yards and a touchdown on only eight passes.

Danbury's first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-4. OKeefe and Danbury will welcome Westhill at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Greenwich had to settle for second on Friday, but Michael D'Angelo sure wasn't going down easily. D'Angelo was unstoppable, rushing for 110 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries, while also throwing for 137 yards and a touchdown.

Greenwich moved to 4-1 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak. D'Angelo and Greenwich will challenge Trumbull at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.

Trumbull Gets a Boost from Sevilla in 28-18 Victory
