Soccer Game Preview: Byrd vs. Haughton

Byrd has gone a perfect 3-0 against Haughton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Yellow Jackets will take on the Buccaneers at 5:30 p.m. Byrd will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.

Byrd's defense heads into the match hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed on Thursday. They had just enough and edged out Loyola College Prep 1-0.

Meanwhile, Haughton lost 10-2 to Parkway on Thursday. Things were pretty much settled by the half as Haughton were already down 7-1.

Haughton's defeat dropped their record down to 8-6-1. As for Byrd, their win bumped their record up to 12-3-3.

Byrd got the 'W' in their previous matchup back in January of 2025 against Haughton by a conclusive 9-0 score. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Yellow Jackets since the squad won't have the home-pitch advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
