Softball Recap: Olivet Gets the Win

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Western, Olivet was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Berrien Springs Shamrocks. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Eagles have posted since May 13, 2025.

Olivet's first win this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Berrien Springs, they are on a six-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-9.

Olivet has already played their next matchup, a 5-1 loss against East Lansing on the 27th. Berrien Springs has also already played their next game (against Western), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
