Softball Recap: Heritage Christian Academy Takes a Loss

Heritage Christian Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 11th straight defeat dating back to last season. They came up short against the Evangel Christian Lightning, falling 11-4. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Lightning this season, with their most recent loss being a 14-11 defeat last Tuesday.

Heritage Christian Academy saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Leah Pace, who scored a run while going 1-for-1. Pace also put up a double, which was her first of the season.

Even though they lost, Heritage Christian Academy hit smart and finished the game with only two strikeouts. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now struck out at most four strikeouts in three consecutive contests.
