Soccer Recap: Highland Takes a Loss

Highland fought the good fight in their overtime contest against Olympus on Thursday but wound up with a less-than-desirable result. They fell just short of the Titans by a score of 2-1. The loss continues a trend for Highland in their meetings with Olympus: they've now lost nine in a row.

Highland's goal came courtesy of Zach Sandwick, which was the first he's scored this season.

Highland's record now sits at 4-12. As for Olympus, their win ended a five-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-9.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Highland is set to face off against their familiar foe West at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Olympus will take on rival Skyline at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
