It was a proper cat-fight when Holly challenged McClave on Friday. The Wildcats came up short against the Cardinals, falling 3-0. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Cardinals: they've now lost eight in a row.

Meanwhile, Cheyenne Wells can bid farewell to their three-match losing streak thanks to their match on Friday. They blew past Hanover 3-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-20, 25-11, 25-14.

Holly's defeat dropped their record down to 8-14. As for Cheyenne Wells, their victory bumped their record up to 9-12.
