Softball Recap: Oasis Comes Up Short

After some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last four contests, Oasis finally came back down to earth on Tuesday. They took a 3-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Neumann Celtics. The loss continues a trend for the Sharks in their meetings with the Celtics: they've now lost three in a row.

Oasis saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kaitlyn McGee, who went 1-for-3 with one double.

Oasis' defeat dropped their record down to 9-6. As for Neumann, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Oasis will square off against Aubrey Rogers at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Sharks' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 10.2 runs per game this season. As for Neumann, they will face off against Golden Gate at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
