Recap: North Webster Knights vs. Bastrop Rams

The North Webster Knights suffered their biggest defeat yet this season on Wednesday. They had to suffer through a rough 51-4 loss at the hands of Bastrop. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Webster has scored all season.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Bastrop to victory, but perhaps none more so than Alana Myles, who scored 14 points. Mariah Heard was another key contributor, scoring 13 points.

North Webster's loss ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 11-4. As for Bastrop, the victory for they keeps them at an undefeated 26-0.

North Webster will head out on the road to face off against Wossman at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Wossman knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past three matches -- so hopefully North Webster likes a good challenge. As for Bastrop, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Franklin Parish at 6:00 p.m. Franklin Parish will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Louisiana Rankings (they are ranked 147th, while Bastrop is ranked 25th).
