Basketball Recap: Faith Christian Takes a Loss

Faith Christian was the 43-34 winner over Vandalia Christian when they last played one another back in February, but their luck changed this time around. The Faith Christian Eagles lost 39-13 to the Vandalia Christian Vikings on Tuesday. The match marked the Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Faith Christian's defeat was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Vandalia Christian, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 3-6.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Christian and Rockwell Christian School will compete for holiday cheer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Faith Christian is facing Rockwell Christian School at the right time seeing as Rockwell Christian School is stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Vandalia Christian, they will get to enjoy the win for a while: their next game is against Tabernacle Christian at 5:15 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
