Tabb has gone 9-1 against New Kent recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Tigers will welcome the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Tabb has given up an average of 3.7 goals per game this season, but Friday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Tabb is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to four goals back in March, they were much more limited against Jamestown on Wednesday. They lost 8-0 to the Eagles. While losing is never fun, Tabb can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia soccer rankings (they are ranked 69th, while Jamestown are ranked fifth).

Meanwhile, Wednesday just wasn't the day for New Kent's offense. They fell just short of York by a score of 1-0 on Wednesday. New Kent have struggled against York recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

Tabb now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for New Kent, they now have a losing record of 2-3-2.

Tabb came out on top in a nail-biter against New Kent in their previous matchup back in May of 2024, sneaking past 2-1. Do the Tigers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Trojans turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
