Soccer Recap: Math & Science College Preparatory Takes a Loss

While it was all tied up 0-0 at halftime, Math & Science College Preparatory was not quite Lynwood's equal in the second half on Thursday. They fell just short of the Lynwood Knights by a score of 3-2. That's two games in a row now that the Sharks have lost by just one goal.

Edward Leon and Luis Quezada scored both of Math & Science College Preparatory's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 11 goals.

Math & Science College Preparatory has been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-4 record this season. As for Lynwood, with the victory, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-5-1.

Math & Science College Preparatory wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next game, a 4-0 defeat against Hawkins on the 27th. Lynwood has also already played their next contest, a 1-0 loss against Marshall on the 27th.
