Basketball Game Preview: Beechwood Tigers vs. Conner Cougars

The Beechwood Tigers will take on the Conner Cougars at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Conner took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Beechwood, who comes in off a win.

It was a proper cat-fight when Beechwood took on Carroll County on Tuesday. Beechwood strolled past Carroll County with points to spare, taking the game 51-32.

Meanwhile, Conner was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 61-50 to Bishop Brossart.

Conner's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Beechwood, the win got them back to even at 1-1.

Beechwood came up short against Conner in their previous matchup back in February of 2021, falling 67-59. Can Beechwood avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
