Volleyball Recap: Norwell Beats Eastbrook for Their Third Straight Victory

Norwell entered their tilt with Eastbrook on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They put the hurt on the Panthers with a sharp 3-0 victory. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Knights also won the last time the pair played back in September of 2024.

Norwell's got stronger as the match went on, holding Eastbrook to fewer and fewer points set over set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-17, 25-13, 25-12.

Norwell's offense was headlined by Hope Mitchell and Macie Saalfrank, who picked up eight kills apiece. They got some help from Emma Vachon and her 27 assists. She was also solid from the service line: she led the team with six aces.

Norwell's win bumped their record up to 13-3. As for Eastbrook, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-9 record this season.

Norwell didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-0 victory against Marion on the 16th. As for Eastbrook, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-1 win against Frankton on the 16th.
