Softball Recap: Stuttgart Takes a Loss

After soaring to 11 runs the game before, Stuttgart was a bit more limited in their match on Tuesday. They lost 8-2 to the Wynne Yellowjackets. The Ricebirds were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Yellowjackets apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in March of 2023.

MyKayla Hale made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Stuttgart's loss dropped their record down to 6-12. As for Wynne, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-10.

While Stuttgart had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
