Basketball Recap: Unity Comes Up Short

If Unity was riding high fresh off their 62-34 takedown of Frederic last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Unity Eagles took a hard 36-17 fall against the Clear Lake Warriors on Thursday. The loss continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now lost seven in a row.

Unity's defeat dropped their record down to 5-15. As for Clear Lake, their win bumped their record up to 14-6.

Unity wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 43-38 loss against Turtle Lake on the 14th. As for Clear Lake, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 58-39 victory against Siren on the 14th.
