Wausa's game on Tuesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. They walked away with a 3-1 victory over the Chambers/Wheeler Central Renegades. The Vikings haven't had any issues with the Renegades recently, as the game was their fifth consecutive win against them.

Wausa had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 11-25, 25-17, 25-18, 27-25.

Wausa's victory bumped their record up to 6-11. As for Chambers/Wheeler Central, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-19.
