Baseball Recap: Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy Find Success

Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They came out on top against the Menard Yellowjackets by a score of 5-2.

Diego Raygoza made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only two hits while striking out nine over four innings pitched. Raygoza was also stellar in the batter's box, scoring two runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Cason Henderson, who scored a run and stole three bases while going 4-for-4. Another player making a difference was Zaderick Chavez, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Midland Texas Leadership Charter Academy now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Menard, their loss dropped their record down to 0-2.
