Soccer Game Preview: Grainger vs. Cosby

The Grainger Grizzlies will square off against the Cosby Eagles at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Monday just wasn't the day for Grainger's offense. They lost 3-0 to Gibbs on Monday. The loss continues a trend for Grainger in their meetings with Gibbs: they've now lost five in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Cosby). They never let Cherokee get on the board and left with a 9-0 victory on Tuesday. Cosby haven't had any issues with Cherokee recently, as the game was their seventh consecutive win against them.

Cosby's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Grainger, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-9-1.
