Softball Game Preview: Elizabeth Bulldogs vs. Torres Toros

Elizabeth hasn't had much luck against Torres recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. Elizabeth is taking a road trip to square off against Torres at 3:00 p.m. Elizabeth has given up an average of 27.2 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Elizabeth is headed into Wednesday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 16th straight game dating back to last season on Thursday. They lost 25-7 to Hawthorne Math & Science Academy.

Meanwhile, the third road game was the charm for Torres, as they earned their first away victory of the season. They came out on top against Bernstein by a score of 7-3 on Friday.

The win was their first on the road , bumping their record up to 2-4. As for Elizabeth, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-4.

Elizabeth might still be hurting after the 28-0 loss they got from Torres in their previous matchup back in May of 2024. Can Elizabeth avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
