Volleyball Recap: Ashley Hall Takes a Loss

Ashley Hall kicked off their season on the road on Friday and hit a couple of potholes. They fell just short of the R.J. Reynolds Demons by a score of 2-1.

R.J. Reynolds got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Kendall McCluney out in front who had eight digs and five aces. That's the most digs McCluney has posted since back in October of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of Maggie O'Sullivan, who had 15 digs and one assist.

R.J. Reynolds' first victory this season bumped their record up to 1-2.

Ashley Hall wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Branchville on the 15th. As for R.J. Reynolds, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Ambassador Christian School on the 15th.
