Basketball Recap: Coopersville Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Coopersville came into Tuesday's matchup having lost five straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 43-35 victory over the Sparta Spartans on Tuesday. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 34-16 back in January.

Coopersville's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 5-10. As for Sparta, they are on a 17-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-16.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Coopersville will take on Catholic Central at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Sparta, they will welcome Allendale at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Sparta has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
