Chaparral extended the longest winning streak in II Section VII this week by beating Tolleson, 64-21. The victory was the ninth in a row for the Firebirds.

Chaparral's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Sean Paul Brophy threw for 140 and 4 touchdowns and Tyler Whiley had 91 yards receiving. On the ground Elijah Castro chipped in 123 yards. Israel Simpson helped Chaparral's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 39 yards.

David Huffine's team's dynamic duo of Brophy and Whiley proved to be unstoppable against the Wolverines, as they were the top passer and receiver in the league this week. Simpson helped Chaparral's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 39 yards.

He was 10-17 with 1 interception.

Paradise Valley's Daniel Bridge-Gadd and Jordan Brown led the league in both passing and receiving yards. 6-1 quarterback Bridge-Gadd has thrown for 2,385 yards this season, while Brown has 66 catches for 940 yards. Castro from the Firebirds leads the league in rushing with 1,145 yards.

In 141 carries Max Vankempen has put up 972 yards this year.

So far this year, he has garnered 66 catches for 940 yards.

Chaparral took down Tolleson 64-21 last week, the largest margin of any game. Brophy during the win.
