Baseball Recap: Morro Bay Comes Up Short

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Morro Bay can now relate to. They came up short against the Carmel Padres on Tuesday, falling 9-0. The matchup marked the first time this season in which the Pirates were not able to get on the board.

Morro Bay's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 25-8. As for Carmel, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 21-10.

Morro Bay does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Carmel, they will take on Rancho Cotate at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
