Baseball Recap: Needles Takes a Tough Playoff Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Needles can now relate to. They fell just short of the Lake Mead Christian Academy Eagles by a score of 8-7 on Saturday. Unfortunately, that's the fourth time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, with their most recent defeat being a 7-4 loss on Friday.

JD Lusk was cooking despite his team's loss, going 2-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. Robert Tapia was another key player, going 2-for-4 with two runs and one stolen base.

Needles' defeat dropped their record down to 20-10-1. As for Lake Mead Christian Academy, the victory (which was their 13th in a row) raised their record to 23-1.

As of now, neither Needles nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
