Softball Recap: Broughton Capitals vs. Athens Drive Jaguars

Broughton had lost seven straight at home, but on Friday they dropped down to 3-12 to make it eight. They lost 12-5 to the Athens Drive Jaguars. The Capitals were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Jaguars earlier this season, when they won 9-2.

Louise Hatch made the most of her time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 3-for-4 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base marked the first that she has snagged this season. Lillian O'Neill was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs.
