Football Recap: Asbury Park Has No Trouble Against Freehold Boro

The Asbury Park Bishops got the win against the Freehold Boro Colonials on Saturday by a conclusive 36-13. The result was nothing new for the Bishops, who have now won three contests by 23 points or more so far this season.

The win made it two in a row for Asbury Park and bumps their season record up to 5-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 43.0 points over those games. As for Freehold Boro, they dropped their record down to 2-7 with the loss, which was their fourth straight at home.

Asbury Park does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Freehold Boro, they will face off against Lakewood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
