Forest Hills typically has all the answers at home, but on Thursday Richland proved too difficult a challenge. They came out on top against the Rangers by a score of 3-1. The victory continues a trend for the Rams in their matchups with the Rangers: they've now won four in a row.

Richland had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. The match finished with set scores of 22-25, 25-17, 25-22, 25-20.

Kiya Wise paced Richland's offense, picking up 18 kills. Wise got some help from Brooklyn Roberts and her 34 assists. Finally, Addison Hirsch kept Richland's defense grounded, leading the team with three blocks.

Richland's win bumped their record up to 27-3-2. As for Forest Hills, their defeat ended an eight-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 21-5-2.
