Baseball Game Preview: Hale Ray Noises vs. Coginchaug Regional Blue Devils

Hale Ray is 0-10 against Coginchaug Regional since April of 2019 but things could change on Friday. The Noises will face off against the Blue Devils at 4:00 p.m.

Hale Ray is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 24 runs on Saturday, they were much more limited against Old Saybrook on Wednesday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rams.

Hale Ray saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Anthony LaPila, who went 1-for-2 with one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Coginchaug Regional narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past Portland 3-2. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Blue Devils.

Coginchaug Regional's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for Hale Ray, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-11.

Hale Ray couldn't quite finish off Coginchaug Regional in their previous meeting back in April and fell 6-4. Can the Noises avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
